damn its almost a year!

Hey its been almost a year, and this little cutie Jayden Jabari Phillips my Nephew was born on November 8th.....How magnificent is that to be born in the same month That we United States got its first Black president! And for both of them its a new beginning, a New birth! And its been an interesting year, with just recently Obama recieving the Noble peace prize, which went under criticism, but most of what Obama has done has come under criticism. But lets not make any mistake in knowing where all these problems and atrocities of our country have come from in the past years! Lets continue to uplift, support and pray for our President and remember he is PRESIDENT OF THIS UNITED STATES!
I'll try to stay current and keep up with the world, but its all moving and going all so fast...peace and love my Peeples!

He's stepped over hurdles, obstacles and mountains, visible to all the masses and my vote did matter and I am part of history

Now visible to the masses, who cheered his name, all over the world, Not quite the second-coming, but close runner up, how about a second-chance

listen to the silent songs, understand the past, its pain, its triumphs, its horror, its glory! its time to sound the bells, drum up the march, liberty breathes and sighs...

grap your shovels, time to bury ignorance, destroy the monsters that inhale and grimmace, time to slay the dragons of racism, tame the shrewd minds that cant vision change

time to destroy the circles of recycling, despair to be replaced by hope and this one man's silhouette against the American Flag cast new colors, a rare Black against the nights of struggle, no crystal stairs yet, but hope is a million stars and prayers in flight, that surely light the way

Can you hear a harmonious chord, shakes the spirits and soul, His words begin to fill the voids in mankinds errors, resonates on those ears that have been deaf, and stands on those that have always been attentive!

You have no choice now, humbly admit the stance of eloquence, pristine, dignity and royalty regains its posture that was stripped away

Millions of eager arms and hands ready to support that one backbone, tears of sincerity, tears of appreciation and wonderment, as these eyes weep away the phlegm of unjust politics that have been burned and blinded

But our Will has stood, withstands, perserveres, gleams again, our faith has momentum and purpose.... Pride shimmers like gold and rains over the smiles of Ancestors

welcome our 44th President...Barack Obama!

hey My peeples,

Its been a while, been too busy...well lets see, had a wonderful
vacation in California...did San fran, the pacific coast highway Drive was like no other drive I ever had. Beautiful pacific coast scenery, wonderful people, Carmel and Monterey were fantastic, drove to Santa Barbara, Big sur, a few days in San diego and fisnished up 4 nights in Vegas to get my party on...and throughout the entire trip I saw the momentum building for our next president!
White folks, Chinese, Africans, Italians, Mexicans, the list goes on!
This country is ready for change! Well that was then, and this is now!

But before that, we saw such a change in the economy in a matter of weeks, I was soon to almost regret throwing away money on a well deserved and appreciated vacation, but Wall Street and Big corporate business took our economy for a roller coaster ride, with a first drop that, well did not stop! and Now, well long story short you see Christmas, that has never commercially been about our Glorious Saviour, but now is about the SAving of our failing disastrous economy! They are pushing black friday as the prayeful miracle of Wall street, Halloween and Thanksgiving didnt even stand a chance! I saw more Christmas decorations on Halloween than halloween decorations...and thanksgiving ! whats that??? We've been hurled into the propaganda of Xmas since mid October! How God awful is that......and especially for the reason of it! but buy buy, spend, spend, spend,! How terribly wrong!

But one good thing, came out of the Fall and Politics of 2009!
Barack Obama...America Stood up!

Thank you, Jesse
Because of Jackson's crude comment, candy seller's site getting a lot more hits

The owner of "Obama's Chocolate Nuts" is feeling like "the luckiest person on Earth" in the wake of the Rev. Jesse Jackson's crude remarks about Sen. Barack Obama.
"Who would have thought anybody would use 'Obama' and 'nuts' in an actual news story?'' said David Feingold, a 30-year-old San Diego resident.

RELATED STORIESJackson apologizes for comment about Obama
His site, Obamaschocolatenuts.com, occupied the top spot on Google Thursday when Web users typed in "Obama" and "nuts." Feingold said traffic on his site more than tripled over the usual count.
Feingold says he started selling packages of nuts, chocolate balls and T-shirts with Obama's name and likeness about a month and a half ago -- an idea sparked by his revulsion over sycophantic supporters of the Illinois senator and presumptive Democratic nominee.
(The nuts connection is related to vulgar slang that Feingold defines as "liking someone too much.")
Nothing against Obama, said Feingold, but "I think anytime somebody follows somebody blindly, it's not a good thing.''
"Nobody knows anything about this guy; everybody claims they do," he said.
Feingold says he's sold 650 bags of nuts and candy so far, led by the three-bag, $8.99 sampler pack. An equal opportunity offender, Feingold was peddling "McCain's dried papaya stick" --advertised on his racy Web site by a hungry girl in a bikini -- until the wholesale price got too high, he said.
Keying on Jackson's threat to castrate Obama for "talking down to black people,'' Feingold is planning his next stunt: "We're going to send Jesse Jackson his 'Obama's Nuts' so he doesn't have to be violent about it."

my 2 cents
Why? my peeps! Why?
Mr. (keep hope alive) Jackson, dont you think our Presidential candidate has enough on his "Agenda" than to have to be worried about his "own" so called constitiuents dragging him in the already "dying to mud and Lie" media...
What the hell were you thinking, to implement even the slightest notion of "castration" to your own...I wont even drag my blog into the pool of ignorance you are wading and will eventually drown in...but shit! I am lost for words, the media, the slime, the ignorant, the prejudice, those that are completely against Obama are just side-lining waiting for these type of comments and slip ups to do what Blacks are so unfortunately capable of and thats slandering and holding each others progress at bay....
and I will cut this off here....
as my mama always says......
"IF YOU CANT BE PART OF THE SOLUTION, DONT F***KIN BE PART OF THE PROBLEM" If you wanted so bad to get back in the realm of media Attention"keep hope alive" would have been a good comeback! I want to call you an asshole so badd right now, but I am trying my best to keep my respect just for the figure and part of my History you have been! Regardless of your misguided insight right in through now!

Is America Ready!

He gives the appearance of a strikingly laid-back victor, this presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.
becoming the first African-American to capture a major party nomination, Mr. Obama remains a protean political figure, inspiring devotion in supporters who see him as a transformative leader even as he remains inscrutable to critics
He is a liberal who favors regulating Wall Street and stanching housing foreclosures, negotiating with foreign enemies and disengaging from the war in Iraq. He speaks eloquently about America’s divisions of race and class, and says the old rhetoric of racial grievance has exhausted itself.
But his insistence that he can bridge the nation’s ideological chasms without resort to partisan warfare leaves some with the nagging sense that he makes it sound too easy, and that his full measure as a politician has yet to be taken.

JUSTICE NOW!

FREEDOM “BETTA” RING

When the innocent is judged on speculation, facts are bound and tied
those speculators set the examples of their learned psychosis
we cannot stand aside and let their preconceived fate unbalance the scales
we must do what’s in our God given power to un-blind justice
send those who pretend to hold false power in their grips
back to the belly of the unjust beast that dines from the plate of racism, prejudice and lies

When you fight back those tears
that liquid frustration does not vanish
it rolls back, a black paste to the dark tunnels of your soul
eventually returns to your mouth
a poisonous saliva so when the dam is full
It regurgitates words like
No Justice, No Peace!
Or Revolution and Freedom! Say it! Freedom!
Say it! Freedom!

When you hold back anger
that energy never dissipates
it tightens the muscles in your heart
anger rides your blood a wild stallion
harnesses the cerebrum
charges you positive or negatively
to the actions of your intelligence
to violence or rhyme and reason

When you diffuse aggression
that reverses momentum ceases advancement of the cause
slows the progress to ignite change
forces you to lower your head
settle for false contentment
reverts you to wanting to sing some Negro spiritual like “We shall over come” one day
maybe only once a year on that cold January Birthday the new “one day sale when we send that famous Black man
back to spinning in his grave
those loud speeches of action becomes Dying whispers, the very next day

we drop the big bad bold sticks we carry
pick up our remotes, plug in the pods and return to the shuffle
preempt the Protest, close our cell doors
but wait! we aint the ones jailed
but we act like we are

determination must not be deterred
do not let it die, or someone else just might
reach beyond the given limitations
challenge to free that spirit amongst others
stir some commitment into your soul
move out, call out, or even text to continue the movement
because our enemies have destroyed the balance
a long time ago
that’s why Justice runs blindfolded
and she screams back to us
to untie her hands, free her sight
fight for our lives, our Independence truth will bear vindication
our actions ignite that pondered revolution
Say it, Freedom, say it! Freedom!
Say it! Freedom!

THERE'S NEVER ANY JUSTICE!!!!

3 NYPD detectives acquitted in groom slaying
Sean Bell, 23, killed in hail of bullets on night of his bachelor party!

BREAKING NEWS

NEW YORK - Three detectives were acquitted of all charges Friday in the 50-shot killing of an unarmed groom-to-be on his wedding day, a case that put the New York Police Department at the center of another dispute involving allegations of excessive firepower.
Justice Arthur Cooperman delivered the verdict in a Queens courtroom packed with spectators, including victim Sean Bell's fiancee and parents, as at least 200 people gathered outside the building.
As word of the verdict spread, many outside the courthouse began crying and yelled "No!" Some briefly jostled with police officers.
